SHMD Participates in KASBP Symposium in San Diego as One of Four Promising Chungbuk Bio Companies

SHMD participated in the KASBP Symposium held in San Diego, USA, on June 19–20, 2026, as one of four promising bio companies selected for support by Chungcheongbuk-do.

The program was part of Chungcheongbuk-do’s 2026 Global Life Science Industry Cooperation Conference, designed to strengthen the commercialization capabilities of local bio startups and venture companies and support their expansion into overseas markets.

During the symposium, SHMD introduced its AI-based transcranial Doppler ultrasound device and automated thrombus detection software and received customized consultation from local experts on technology commercialization and U.S. market entry strategies.

Participating companies also presented their technologies and products, engaged with pharmaceutical and biotech professionals, and explored opportunities for future collaboration and investment.

SHMD was selected alongside Youth Bio Global, HITS, and Nason Science following an evaluation process conducted by Chungcheongbuk-do.
