Cheongju Medical Center and SHMD Sign MOU to Build AI-Based Brain Disease Prevention and Management System

SHMD has signed a memorandum of understanding with Cheongju Medical Center in Chungcheongbuk-do to establish a brain disease prevention and management system tailored to local residents.

The partnership aims to strengthen clinical capabilities through advanced AI medical technology and accelerate the adoption of digital healthcare solutions for brain health management in real-world medical settings.

SHMD has been developing AI algorithm-based blood flow diagnostic technologies designed to support the early identification and prevention of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular disease risks.

Cheongju Medical Center plans to apply SHMD’s AI diagnostic solutions in clinical care and health screening processes, evaluate their clinical performance, and provide more precise and advanced brain disease prevention and management services for local residents.

Through this collaboration, the two organizations plan to expand the practical use of AI-based brain health solutions in regional healthcare and strengthen a digitally enabled preventive care system.

SHMD CEO Song Min-young stated that the company will continue working to provide practical solutions that help protect the cerebrovascular health of local communities.
