AI-Based Brain Health Solution Company SHMD Officially Selected for NVIDIA’s Inception Program
SHMD Co., Ltd., a company specializing in AI-based brain health solutions, has officially been selected as a member of NVIDIA’s Inception Program.
This Korean healthcare startup, which diagnoses cerebral blood flow using artificial intelligence (AI), is drawing attention after being chosen for the Inception Program, a global initiative led by the world-renowned AI computing company NVIDIA.
According to industry sources on the 2nd, SHMD has been officially selected as a member of NVIDIA’s Inception Program.
The NVIDIA Inception Program is a global support initiative that discovers and assists startups with innovative capabilities in fields such as AI, data science, and high-performance computing (HPC). Participating companies are selected through comprehensive evaluations of their technological prowess, market scalability, and business sustainability. Selected members receive a range of technical and business support, including GPU optimization, technical consulting, and access to NVIDIA’s global network.
Additionally, members benefit from exclusive resources such as the latest development tools, training programs, NVIDIA hardware and software, and connections to venture capital networks for strategic support.
Notably, being officially recognized as an Inception Member serves as a strong indicator of a company’s technological capabilities and growth potential in the global market.

SHMD was founded by Minyoung Song, a former legal expert in the healthcare field and now a developer. Together with top-tier Korean medical professionals, she developed an AI-based wearable device that diagnoses cerebral blood flow and provides integrated brain health solutions to hospitals and medical institutions.
An SHMD representative stated, “Through our selection into the Inception Program, we plan to pursue further optimization of our AI models and enhancement of hardware performance, while strengthening our global competitiveness through overseas expansion and strategic partnerships using NVIDIA’s international network.”
