SHMD.LTD Launches Brain Health AI Solution ‘BrainCheck.ai’

Medical artificial intelligence (AI) specialist SHMD (CEO, Song Lauren Minyoung) announced on the 9th that it has launched the integrated brain health AI solution application ‘BrainCheck.ai’.

BrainCheck.ai enables the general public to easily check their brain health status and guides them to visit appropriate medical institutions when necessary, supporting early detection and prevention of brain diseases.

It provides four functions: ▲game-based cognitive function assessment tool ▲questionnaire-based headache diagnostic evaluation ▲carotid artery sound AI analysis tool ▲stroke AI diagnosis. In particular, the stroke AI diagnostic solution was developed through joint research with the Korean Stroke Society.

Professor Heo Jun-nyeong from the Department of Neurology at Severance Hospital, who led the research, said, ‘As a neurologist, I wanted to contribute to early detection and prevention of brain diseases by combining clinical experience with AI technology.’ He added, ‘In particular, carotid artery sound analysis and stroke risk assessment are the results of applying clinically validated indicators to AI algorithms.

CEO Minyoung Song stated, “BrainCheck.ai enables early diagnosis and prevention through an accessible brain health management tool,” and added, “Our goal is to provide innovative medical services using AI technology within the framework of healthcare policy.”
