This Korean healthcare startup, which diagnoses cerebral blood flow using artificial intelligence (AI), is drawing attention after being chosen for the Inception Program, a global initiative led by the world-renowned AI computing company NVIDIA.<\/p>\n

According to industry sources on the 2nd, SHMD has been officially selected as a member of NVIDIA\u2019s Inception Program.<\/p>\n

The NVIDIA Inception Program is a global support initiative that discovers and assists startups with innovative capabilities in fields such as AI, data science, and high-performance computing (HPC). Participating companies are selected through comprehensive evaluations of their technological prowess, market scalability, and business sustainability. Selected members receive a range of technical and business support, including GPU optimization, technical consulting, and access to NVIDIA\u2019s global network.<\/p>\n

Additionally, members benefit from exclusive resources such as the latest development tools, training programs, NVIDIA hardware and software, and connections to venture capital networks for strategic support.<\/p>\n

Notably, being officially recognized as an Inception Member serves as a strong indicator of a company\u2019s technological capabilities and growth potential in the global market.<\/p>\n

An industry insider commented, \u201cSHMD\u2019s selection for the NVIDIA Inception Program is one of the cases where a domestic AI healthcare company is being recognized for its competitiveness on the global stage,\u201d adding, \u201cIt signals the strength and growth potential of Korea\u2019s AI-powered digital healthcare industry.\u201d<\/p>\n

SHMD was founded by Minyoung Song, a former legal expert in the healthcare field and now a developer. Together with top-tier Korean medical professionals, she developed an AI-based wearable device that diagnoses cerebral blood flow and provides integrated brain health solutions to hospitals and medical institutions.<\/p>\n
